Misquoted? Misunderstood maybe? Brash? Brazen? Outspoken, brave, no doubt! What is for sure is that James DeGale is going to be boxing’s next big name.

With Fights out there versus Carl, George, Bika, Stephenson, Oosthuizen, Buté, Pascal, Abraham, Kessler...at least three of which will be made within the next 12 months, a new, more mature and knowledgeable 'Chunky' is raring to go.

Disappointments and let downs have seen fights with Kenny Anderson, Brian Magee and the exciting South African Bomber Oosthuizen fall by the wayside. A last minute offer by James to fight Pascal as a replacement for the injured Buté was politely declined, but was a perfect illustration of James' intent.

Sorry but why the fcuk is boxingscene putting any stories about degale, let alone a comical PR release from his team??? There is zero interest in degale. No one likes him and no one wants to watch him box. I live in london and his hometown aren't even interested.

Hopefully the Canadians take a liking to him and they can take him in exchange for Lennox Lewis.

Froch vs DeGale would be a massacre. I'd PPV it too.

Bigger fish for both to fry - no credibility beating DeGale. Get in line and prove yourself first.

Just read the article properly, DeGale beat Ward.

Absolutely no chance of that happening.
