  • How much did Shane decline from Margarito fight to Mayweather?

Shane looked unbelievable in the Margarito fight but he was put on the self for 15 months before fighting Floyd, I know Floyd is nothing like Margarito and a lot of it was down to him but its hard to imagine Shane look so much worse.

He didn't decline at all. He stayed the same. His opponents talent and skill increased 10 fold.

None. He declined after the Cotto fight, but was still good enough to beat some good fighters. Shane's prime was 1997-2003/2004. From 2004/2005-2007, he was past his prime-still good. From 2008 and on he was past his prime.

Floyd still beat him when he was coming off beating Margarito though, the #1 ranked WW, had entered the Top 10 P4P after that win, when everyone wanted him to fight Shane, and when Shane was the man at 147.

none to be honest he had been on the decline for years,he was getting outboxed by Mayorga for crying out loud.but like he has always told people"i have the mexican style down pack"he grew up fighting them in Cali and even fights like them.he has never looked good against a quick boxer and would never beat Floyd.Margo was taylor made for him and gave him his last hurra.........cool case no 1 gave him a chance in that fight...but he is a brawler and a power puncher and he isnt going to outbox a pure boxer ever

I also think that his mental approach changed way too much. He went into attack mode for Margarito and then went 180 for Mora Mayweather and Pacquiao

It didn't decline;Mayweather is just on another level than Margarito. You see how he made Marquez look like a amateur?

Over a year & back to back training camps later, Mosley was done.

                    C'mon now Toby....

You don't get shot by not fighting..

If that's the case Floyd was "done" too...

Mosley was already in training for Berto...and he'd been stalking Manny during much of that time..

Stop hating you bootlicking hankerchief head..
