Martinez challenges the JMW champ to a fight @ 154, but the JMW champ is too small?

It's pretty bad that the champ can't defend his title. At least after the Cotto catchweight he fought a real ww in Clottey (even though Clottey's not that good), but shaving four pounds off the junior middleweight limit was too much for a title fight and now it's starting to show.

I had no problem with that fight or catchweight fights, but catchweight title fights are a no-no because of this reason.

only on boxingscene can a smaller man duck a guy not even in his own weight class who would outweigh him by at least 20 pounds on fight night.

really, you don't understand? it was a one time fight, a catchweight fight at 150 and that person plans on vacating that belt and returning to 147. shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out.

that person also weighs around 148 pounds on fight night, while the MW champ would weigh around 170 pounds or more on fight night. Comprende?
