He asked Hopkins if he could fight and Hop responded, "Yes with a dislocated shoulder!"
Hopkins was just trying to make it clear to the ref, to Dawson, everyone in the arena and watching around the world that he was about to fight with a dislocated shoulder!
Hopkins was just setting the stage for his Willis Reed moment!
