Being undefeated in itself doesn't mean squat, it's about who you beat and how much you accomplish.
That being said, yeah for the last 6 years Floyd has been fighting guys who were either #1 or top 3 in their weightclass and some of them were in the top 10 P4P. Under those conditions it's hard to stay undefeated so he deserves tons of props.Last edited by Light_Speed; 12-09-2012, 12:06 PM.

But yea, real hard to go undefeated when you only fight once every 2 years then come back and fight 1 hand picked opponent.
If Mayweather was really ducking Emmanuel, he would have been emboldened to face him after JMM made him look less than ordinary back in 2011. Then after Bradley did.
This KO just goes to prove how overhyped Pacquiao truly was.
If a LW can do this to Pacquiao, Floyd would have gone back to prison for muder behind what would have happened to Emmanuel in the ring.
Katsidis did better than Pacquiao did in this fight. At least Katsidis made it to the 9th. Wow.

Being undefeated is overrated as hell.
Name one top 10 ATG that was undefeated?
If you're fighting as often as you're supposed to against the best opposition available then losing comes with the territory.
The only fighters who have remained undefeated throughout their entire careers are those fighters who never sought to constantly challenge themselves against equally matched opposition.
