    New York, NY - Earlier today, at the beautiful and brand new Mendez Boxing Club located at 23 East 26th Street in Manhattan, Puerto Rican knockout artist Jason "Monstruo" Escalera (13-0-1, 12KO's) and his trainer/manager Joe Botti, hosted an open media workout in preparation of Escalera's upcoming bout this Saturday night against fellow undefeated contender and current USBA super middleweight champion Edwin "La Bomba" Rodriguez (21-0, 14KO's).     i dont know a damn thing about this guy. hopefully rodriguez beats on him and doesn't get bombed on too much. looking at the record i'd guess this kid can bang a bit.

      And Rodriguez seems to get hit quite a lot =/. Hope he pulls it off, I like him.

            No Need To Study Old Rodriquez Film

            Edwin on Sat., his 6 yr. old twins b-day, will be hell to be in a ring with. Yes, he will demonstrate boxing skills learned from Ronnie Shields, but he will I believe want to settle this match man against man, and Edwin is the man this night.

                lou dibella really got his hooks in hbo. this is a complete garbage fight. espn2 has had much better fights this year.

                  Who cares. Time for new faces. Better this than watching Broner outweigh his opponent by 10 pounds on fight night.
