        come to think about....

it was worthy, vlade, perkins, scott.....

damn even when the lakers suck they're still good.

unlike the other so called great franchise who goes 7 years straight without making the playoffs.

their best player in the 2000's was a mediocre paul pierce. LMFAO

              1961-1962 Season

              Elgin Baylor - 38 ppg, 19 rpg, 5 apg

              Jerry West - 31 ppg , 8 rpg, 5 apg

if only they had nike commercials, idiots who voted in this poll would think they were great.

Goes to NBA finals 13 times and only wins once. If anything Russell and john havlicek, won 8 together.

yeah like it was just those 2 on the celtics.

celtics had like 10 hofers 60's to 70's.

there was no free agency and salary caps back then.

that was during the infancy of the nba. those guys greatness would not translate over in any era. those years were like the stone ages for athleticism. Only years removed from one handed dribblers.

anybody who accrued their greatness in the 50s,60s, & 70s, their greatness does not cross over in any time period. Their greatness is antiquated & does not stand the test of time.
