If Drug Addiction is a Disease, Why are We Still Locking People up for it?

    The reason they are on probation or parole in the first place is usually because of other crimes, unless they're selling drugs, most of the time it's a theft or robbery charge, with drug enhancements, brought on after the arrest.           b) people should be free to do as they please without encroaching on another's liberty



          so let junkies be junkies.... its their choice

          no need for enforcement or laws relating to such

            It would be a show of ignorance to suggest intelligence has anything to do with addiction.
