  • Frank Warren eyes four-way heavyweight showdown

Promoter Frank Warren admits he dreams of pitting David Haye, Tyson Fury, David Price and Dereck Chisora against each other in an all-British heavyweight tournament.

Haye came out of retirement this year to defeat Chisora, while Price looks set for a grudge match with Fury in 2013.

However, Warren believes the best way to determine the top Brit would be to host a tournament, with the winner of the semi-finals going head-to-head in the final.

"There are some sizzling domestic scores that need settling," Warren wrote in his column for the Sun.

"David Haye, David Price and Tyson Fury are three big men with big digs and big question marks remaining over their durability.

"Add Dereck Chisora, rumoured to be re-applying for his British license, then pair any two in semi-finals with the victors to meet and determine the 'Don'. All would fill football stadiums."

Haye has said he has no interest in fighting either Price or Fury as he holds out for a shot at world champion Vitali Klitschko, but the former WBA champion could be tempted to reconsider with a mouth-watering showdown to determine the best of British.

Warren concluded his column by saying: "Plenty to whet the juices. Let's get the matches made so the sport can continue to thrive."

That would be truly awesome but there's zero chance of it happening.
