Just the camera angle. It's not like he's a big fighter anyway. In some of Mayweather's photos against Ortiz, he looked a bit thin in the wrists next to Victor, and we saw how much that stopped him from putting Ortiz down.

from some of the footage we saw khan has mainly been in the ring and lots of running, so no surprise he has lost mass

Virgil made it clear he is no fan of strength training which involves basketballs or canoes, it looks good, but it is of no use in the ring in his "Opinion"

He spends time with his boxers in the ring, learning the ring, he's very basic to be fair, but is his dated style of training any good in this modern era of sports science?

It works great for Ward, so he's obviously doing something right.

No way he gets caught by Garcias club fighting ass again

Hopefully Garcia keeps ducking Matthyse so we can get the rematch before crispy boy gets hospitalised
Well, he could get caught again. That's boxing for you, but I think he will win in a rematch as well. Khan was busting Garcia up good before he got caught.

disagree with your post but love the picture on your sig!!!!!!

Disagree is probably the wrong word, it works for Andre Ward because he is a great all round boxer with no obvious flaws or weaknesses.

If he can raise his profile he is a nailed on Hall of Famer.

Amir Khan on the other hand...........

What Khan needs is to concentrate on is his boxing. So the change is good.

Flaws are there to be exposed, Khan has many, alot to do with Roach having him as a teenager and not doing much with him to get rid of these "basic" flaws. I'm not talking about his dodgy jaw, thats their to stay, however off balance, no jab, pointless flurries, stupid shots from weird angles which leave his chin exposed for counters. I never rated Roach, and never will, Pacman was a natural talent that many better coaches could have done better with.

Hunter can make a few changes in Khan, aslong as Khan listens and is willing to follow and adapt. Even a few defensive and offensive changes in Khan will mean he will have a longer and more safer career, he will get knocked out again i am sure of it, but if he can limit the amount of punishment he takes the better for him.

Roach and Hunter dont share the same philosophy, their idea of boxing is totally opposite, for one Roach instills in his boxers, more punch output is better where as Hunter less punch output is is better. These are just some basic things we will most likely see in Khan which could save him from having a short career. Also one thing we will see from now on is Khan using his jab, Hunter respects the jab, Roach doesnt care for it

Also i think the change in environment is very good

They could have at least found someone over 5 ft tall.

Yeah if Khan loses to this guy, he can call it a career honestly. Nothing against Molina but cmon. Hopefully Virgil has Khan doing some sparring with Ward actually, to refine his craft. Roach was all wrong for Khan and many who know boxing saw that. Sure Khan won some fights, but that is because he is a talented fighter. All Roach teaches is overwhelming offense and the 1-2-3 and out type strategy. Roach's style meshed more with Manny's style because he is a jump in explosive, aggressive puncher, and has a good chin. In reality, given his abilities, Khan should probably not have lost to Peterson and absolutely should have not lost to Garcia. No offense to Garcia but I just don't feel he is truly an elite fighter.

This Molina fight may not tell us much though because Khan is expected to win impressively probably. We will see if there are differences when he steps back up in class.
