our point guards couldn't defend either before nash. so not much dropoff.

which is a real possiblity, that's sad considering their roster and payroll.

Sure it's a possibility....it's also possible that they win the championship.....at this point and with this roster ANYTHING is possible...you just don't know what your gonna get...you can see it game in and game out....quarter in and quarter out...they just can't seem to figure out what type of team they gonna be....Im hoping they will figure this out before it's too late....but as of right now...playoffs are still the goal...once you are in...anything can happen...

well you cant base the team on ANY one of the Lakers superstars....Dwight is just too limited offensively, Pau is a pushover, Kobe is old and a turnover machine(i dont really mind his number of shots) and Nash is old and banged up...

but i do think that Nash running the show is the best bet to involve the whole team....

But the defense would still be a concern....

kobe is fine. tos or not.

and pau is getting too much crap.

he's not being used properly.

check the olympics to see what happens when pau is used properly.

a system that involves everyone is the answer.

thats the thing......Nash running the show means he gets to involve the rest....the man is the facilitator.....he will give Dwight and Gasol a bunch of easy baskets if they use them right(i liked your idea of Gasol as a 5, Dwight as a 4...)...Kobe is shooting well, so we can give him the tough shots....and keeping the ball off his hands means less boneheaded plays and less turnovers(also less postups for Dwight, who is also a TO machine)...

i think nash can run a lot of stuff but shouldn't be full time. stagger their minutes.

a lot of kobe's to this year is trying to pass to dwight. in fact a lot of the other lakers guards too.

pau is great at c. put him at c and watch how many dunks d12 gets from pau passes.
