On Mexican turf, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-0-2. 30KOs) declared that everything and everyone has their time, and it'll his moment against Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0-, 26KOs) on September 14th in Las Vegas.

The only Mexican stopover was at the Monument of the Niños Heroes, in Mexico City.
The huge crowd and massed media, enjoyed a broiling, caustic sun, as the roadshow arrived more than two and a half hours late.

Canelo promised an intelligent fight and also stressed his principal aim is to win against the best. He also got big cheers for saying he's proud to be Mexican and will do Mexico proud. [Click Here To Read More]

Really promoting this fight, makes you realise that they didn't give a **** about the Guerrero fight. Boy was just a stepping stone.

You forget Wladimir -- I suspect he can handle Floyd also.

Floyd's straight right hand came in useful, as well as Canelo signed everything and anything in sight, during a marathon autograph session, which lasted way beyond the twelve round limit.
