Steve Jobs was a huge hypocrit for statements such as that. Apple, much like Microsoft, relied on developing technologies from other companies (Xerox and each other) for enhancing their own products. Proably the only truly unique product they produced was the original iPod, however, it was hardly the first of its kind, just took the best ideas of the market and put it in one box.

I agree with this. I've just been around ppl like my brother, sister who cry for Steve Jobs saying his ideas were stolen from him yet he stole other ppls ideas himself. So, I think thats a hypocrite. Steve Jobs didn't come up things by himself but borrowed/Stole from some people too.

RIP Steve Jobs but your overpriced apple products and you being a hypocrite is kind of true.

The difference is that Apple asked to see Xerox technology and they obliged, when Xerox own engineers showed their bosses the mouse they were laughed at; only Steve Jobs could see the potential. Back then the mouse that was produced was too complicated and expensive to sell to consumers so Apple simplified it and made it cheaper.

          Microsoft just stole from Apple.

Um Apple licensed the technology from Xerox...Microsoft licensed the tech from Xerox and Apple. They all learned from each other, Jobs leeched innovation and genius from Woz. That is the truth!

Jobs made a deal with Xerox, they didn't see the importance of what they had under their noses. Woz was a great engineer but didn't understand business; if Woz had been in control, he would have given away the business.

And your point is? End of the day, he leased the technology and then tried to sue Microsoft for doing the same thing.

He's a hypocrite, its a fact, I understand you love Apple, they make decent products but your sounding like a stan right now.

The fact is, Apple used technology with permission and improved and changed it. Microsoft took it without permission and used a badly drawn contract by the guy who ousted Jobs to get away with it.

Xerox didn't see the importance or implications of what they had, only Jobs could see the potential.
