  • Comments Thread For: Ricky Hatton on Senchenko Bout: If I Lose I Will Quit!

RICKY Hatton will hang up his gloves for good if he fails in his comeback fight in front of his adoring fans tomorrow night.

Hatton ends a ring exile of more than three years, when he meets Vyacheslav Senchenko, 35, in a welterweight contest at the Manchester Arena.

And the 34-year-old says that defeat will sound the final bell on his career, insisting: “I will quit if I lose.”

Hatton returns from retirement for the clash in front of a sell-out 20,000 crowd but says that only victory will give him the impetus to carry on.

if Hatton wins this, he should target Paulie
he raped him easily last time, surely he could do it again
just a paper belt, but would like him to finish with a title
that or Alexander the twat, shot Hatton can still beat his sorry ass

If Ricky was ANYTHING of his former self (especially pre Floyd/Manny) I would love to see a Hatton/Maidana scrap. Provided a victory on Saturday...

Precisely, he doesn't really sound that confident in his chances but I wish him all the best in his endeavors.

Senchenko got TKOed by a feather fisted Malignaggi. What a joke.

I hope Hatton loses. He's been nothing but a depressed cry-baby since losing to Pacquiao.

If Hatton loses to this guy he should retire.

That's clearly been the plan from the start
