nope. nobody outside of Canada has any say about anything inside Canada. The Queen is only a figurative Monarchy of Canada. She has no power whatsoever on anything that goes on in Canada.

Canadians just honor the queen out of respect and nothing more. We could just be arrogant pricks about it and just take her off our money and not acknoweldge her but for what purpose? That respect for others is part of what defines the Canadian culture.

That's just symbolic. Canada is 100% independent, as it has been since 1867.

Only difference is, Canada achieved independence through peaceful means.
