Best console for sports games ?

I still have my ps2 and thinking bout finally upgrading after 10 years,but i need help on finding the right one,wi , ps3 or 360.

For sports games? It doesn't matter they are all multi platform.

As long as its not a Wii, get a PS3 but a 360 will do you fine if you prefer it.

whatever your friends have(360 and ps3 if you like traditional games....).......sports games are all multiplat so both HD consoles have them......if you get a 360 get one of the new ones....otherwise its gonna crap out on you......

Gotta agree with this guy. 99.9% of sports games are multiplatform. Also the best thing about sports games is playing with and against friends, so if they are your primary concern then get the one in which you have the most friends on.

However, if your a BIG baseball fan, MLB The Show which is undoubtedly the best Baseball game out there is exclusive to PS3.

Well if you plan on palying online then 360 is way to go.

All sports games are multiplatform games, in most cases multiplatform games look and perform better on the 360 because games are much more complicated to devellop on the ps3, so when developpers make a game for both they start on the 360 and just port the game to the ps3.

It's not that 360 is better or anything, a game that is made from the ground up on the ps3 will look better than most 360 games. But it's another story when it comes to multiplatform games.


If you get a 360 make sure you buy it new and it's a new model, older models have a rather high failure rate.
