    His career was entertaining to follow from beginning to end.

    I hope he will stay involved with boxing in some manner even with his ring career over. He was honest and always said what was on his mind. Victories over Roy Jones and Antonio Tarver would have made many men over-confident but Johnson knew better, stayed humble and true to himself.

    Glen Johnson described his own career most fittingly after the Roy Jones win, he was not the best but he was a man willing to fight the best. He took on all comers and was rarely outclassed.

      Gentleman is a good description, another top Jamaican sportsman.

      Ring fighter of the year in 2004 beating Tarver and RJJ, both of whom were probably on 'something', no mean feat.

      I think one of the judges had it a draw and Froch was furious but the fight was closer than the other two scores imo. Froch had the much better work-rate but Johnson landed the bigger shots and burst Froch's ear-drum.
