i think they brawled the last time they played.

it was planned.

not quite sure what their normal starting lineups are but the announcer stated that when the visiting team announced their starting lineup , it had 3 of their toughies in it. the home team responded in kind.

any devils/rangers fan here?

are the guys doing the faceoff the normal guys who do the faceoff for their respective teams?

i don't think so. haven't followed hockey much nowadays (maple leafs sufferer )

and you get penalized more if you interfere in a one on one fight.

if 300 lb. offensive linemen were allowed to lay hands on any linebacker who cheap shots their qb , it'd make them think twice.


nba use to allow fights in the old days.

but david stern put a stop to it. maybe it's a racial thing.

when people see white hockey players duke it out to protect their teammates they're "TOUGH".

but when people see black basketball players fight , they think "THUGS" or something.

Really? Even on TV it has to be one of the sports to watch non stop action good stuff!Basketball is right up there but Baseball I cant watch way to slow and they drag it out.
