Flyweight prospect Jonathan 'Bomba' Gonzalez (9-0, 8 KO's) confirmed that he recently met in New York City with Top Rank president, Todd DuBoef. The boxer's legal counsel Gaby Peņagaricano was present and they discussed his contract and the future of his career. He denied reports which indicate his intention to break ties with Top Rank, stating that he's only breaking away from PR Best Boxing. In turn, he also denied reports that he plans to fight on a July 14th event being staged by Miguel Cotto Promotions.
