  • Comments Thread For: Ariza: Pacquiao Destroys Marquez, Goes Through Him!

Alex Ariza, the strength and conditioning coach of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38KOs), expects a one-sided beating on November 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, when the Filipino boxer faces Juan Manuel Marquez for a third time. After two close and controversial battles, Ariza doesn't see a third fight playing out in the same way. Pacquiao's stylistic improvements over the years, and his size, will overwhelm Marquez (53-5-1, 39KOs), says Ariza.

Why are they asking Ariza questions and then post an article about it. He is just a strength and conditioning coach. He doesnt train or do anything but feed and help Pac work out. In my memory i have never heard of any strength and conditioning coach getting this much praise. If he was that good why havent any of us heard of him before Pac rise in weight?

I forgot there was two more S&C coachs that got alot of praise similar to Ariza..Greg Anderson and Victor Conte and we all know how that ended. Other than them two i dont know others.

Yes Pac destroys him very very very very very early. Anything less is a huge disappointment.

          Easy easy easy easy fight.

Paquiao's always been the bigger, faster, and stronger fighter against JMM, it didn't stop JMM from using his guile and the ability he does have to arguably win those fights.

Mosley exposed Manny's weaknesses as still being there, he reduced Pacquiao's punch output and his accuracy without even putting up much resistance as far as punches.

Look at Pacquiao's punch stats against JMM, pretty similar to the Mosley fight, except he leads and counter punches, which wins him rounds. JMM's just going to need to not be reckless, especially early, because that's where he gets caught. Barring an early KO, which is possible, JMM is going to give Pacquiao hell.

Juan Manuel Marquez record will be (53-6-1, 39KOs) after Manny Pacquiao is done with him. This fight doesn't go more than 6 rounds. Marquez won't win a round.

Marquez has never been knocked out nor ran through.. Manny will win, but he will have a tough time with Marquez just like their other two fights everyone always talks about how Manny is so much bigger than Marquez when he's really not Marquez is an inch or two taller and they virtually weigh the same with Manny weighing 144 for most weigh ins and Marquez weighing 145 on fight nights Manny will probably have a 4 or 5 pd weight advantage come fight night and considering Marquez has a already has the height advantage, their virtually the same size... Manny has the advantage in power and agility and Marquez is more technical and skillful...
