  • Comments Thread For: Abraham Not Surprised as Bozic Found To Have No Injury

The recent reports in Germany have made one of last weekend's fights even more controversial. In Mulheim on Saturday night, Arthur Abraham (32-2, 26 KOs) returned after back to back defeats to stop Stjepan Bozic (24-5, 15 KOs) in two rounds. Bozic claimed that he broke his hand in the second round after attempting a hook to the body that Abraham blocked with his elbow. Abraham had some doubts about the injury and he may be right. A physician confirmed to local papers that Bozic was taken to the hospital but no sign of a facture or serious injury was found after tests and x-rays were done. Abraham returns in the month of May to face WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward in the Super Six semi-finals.

A couple of bookies (bet365, bwin and so on) stopped accepting specific bets on AA - Bozic because a suspicious amount of money was bet on Abraham KO2 Bozic.

He will never be as sharp as Ward.

Yes, I noticed that too. That seems to be the best explanation for what has happened. The guy was acting like his hand was severed from the arm... and now nothing he has no injury, he should have at least broken it himself after the fight to make it more plausible...

Somehow, somewhere, Sunderland is behind it.

This proves yet again that German boxing is a joke.
