  • Comments Thread For: Cazarez vs Diaz Early Results From Rio Bravo, Mexico

By Jake Donovan - Hugo Cazares continues the search for success as he approaches the twilight of his career. The former 108 lb. king and 115 lb. titlist is nearly a year removed from a narrow points loss to Tomonobu Shimizu in efforts to become a two-time 115 lb. champ.

Saturday night features just his second fight back since last August's title challenge and his first fight of 2012. He moves up two weight classes to contend for a regional title in a 12-round main event against Daniel Diaz. Their bout airs live on Fox Deportes and Televisa from Gimnasio de las Liebras in Rio Bravo, Mexico. [Click Here To Read More]

That was a great under card fight between Estrada and Verdugo thought they were going to stop the fight with Estrada's face covered in blood after the accidental headbutt. Still fought on and won by tko so good for him.

Daniel Diaz has one hell of a chin. He was getting tagged with some VICIOUS shots all night long.

And that undercard fight was not bad at all. Recommend that fight for anybody to try and watch.

I always liked Hugo Cazarez, his first fight With Caldrone was a classic and he always entertains. I would love to see him fight Koki Kameda and get a nice payday. He'd probley whip kameda's ass on top of it.
