MANCHESTER, N.H. - World-ranked junior middleweight Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade (18-0, 13 KOs) displayed his entire arsenal tonight, stopping Alexis "Hurricane" Hloris (16-4-2, 12 KOs) in the second round, headlining the 11th annual Fight To Educate Pro-Am card at Verizon Wireless Center in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The 24-year-old Andrade, a 2008 U.S. Olympian, dropped Fernandez early in the second round with a straight left and then finished the show with a right hook. Fernandez beat the count but the referee halted the action as the second round ended. [Click Here To Read More]

Heard HBO still owes Dzinziruk another date. Maybe that's the reason.

Be careful what you wish for, Demetrius. Dzinziruk is still better than anyone you have fought to date.

Andrade is decent, but he obviously has much to prove. Dzinziruk is a good step-up, so make it happen.

I never thought Andrade was that bad or that he had so much hate around here lol. Well at least he's not calling out Mayweather, Cotto or Martinez. Just trying to step up his competition, nothing wrong with that.

He beat Grady Brewer. It is strange how long a lot of these prospects are taking to take the next step. Wilder is also just fighting bum after bum, Benavidez has now been pro almost 3 years without anything to write home about.

It's still a lot better then Gesta who has been pro for 9 years or Vanes who's been pro 7 years and is now barely taking the step up.

Not to derail the thread but didnt Arum say Benavidez was stepping up his competition next fight? Man the dude is ready for a step up. Maybe not some top 10 but he's ready for a tough fight. I think he has a very good chance of running that division.
