    Help??? Any Strategies???

Get inside. Slip his jab, role under his punches and bang away. It's only an advantage if he uses it, maybe he doesn't know how to use his size advantage, some people don't even want to use their size advantage.

According to the laws of common sense.... This is the best strategy and definitely apply said instructions.

Apart from that, worry about your size and not his, fight small and be quick on your feet and move je la head a lot, it might help..... Keep your hands 'on the phone' if they aint firing at him.

If you can get away with it... hit him on the hips, a lot. Just don't show your toe afterward if you lose.... ill advised imo.

The rules of fighting short are simple....yet not that easy to execute.

          Get close.
Shadowbox and visualize stepping in as your opponent jabs.
          Chin tucked.
          Get LOW!
Practicing slipping while walking forward and staying low.
Visualize moving in UNDER his punches.
          Immediately gauge these 3 zones/distances

Zone 1: Strike Zone - You can reach him. He can reach you
Zone 2: Danger Zone - He can reach you. You can't reach him.
Zone 3: Safety Zone - You can't reach him. He can't reach you

Spend as much of your time in Zone 1.
You should only be in Zone 2 in passing! STAY OUT OF ZONE 2!
          Don't slip/bob/weave from Zone 3.
Don't begin punching your way in from Zone 3
Doing both of these things a waste energy.
Accept the fact that you will take shots coming in. Try to limit them to jabs.
If you're orthodox...practice setting up shots by forcing your opponent to the ropes and trying to escape to your left (walk them into a left hook) or to your right (walk them into a looping right). Opposite if you're southpaw.
Get into amazing shape. Trying to get inside on a taller opponent is exhausting. Shadowbox long rounds doing these things. If you typically just shadowbox in a more conventional way, you'll notice a huge difference in how much energy shadowboxing this way takes.

Don't take for granted that he can handle your jab, put it on him into the chest first!
Every time he jabs block or slip and return with combinations!!!! Make him understand that when he jabs multiple punches are coming at him!!!!
When a jab is negated from a height advantage the advantage is gone!!!!

If you stand on the outside doing squat your a fool!!!! If you trained to box thats fine but there are times you'll need to fight and this is probably one of those times!

If you scared stay home and cancel, if you want to challenge yourself go whip his azz! Ray

be first, back him up, be the boss!

Arrange for him to have a little "accident" before the bout so that you win by forfeit.

simple, you cut off the ring and keep a high guard. Jab and footwork is vital but you need to set up your right hand to the body/head.

                  Perfect Advice.

You're an inch taller than Mike Tyson and have a similar reach as he. And he went up against guys 6' all of the time. YouTube the video called "Mike Tyson and what height means to him".
