  • Comments Thread For: Tomasz Adamek-Tony Grano Set For August 3rd Card

Tomasz Adamek's opponent for the August 3, NBC Sports Network Fight Night card has been confirmed. Adamek, 48-2, 29 KO's, will take on Tony Grano, 20-3-1, 16 KO's, in Grano's own hometown in a 10-round heavyweight challenge. The number of Tomasz's legion of loyal Polish boxing fans may well rival the popular Grano's hometown crowd. One thing is certain, the house will be rocking at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT.

This will probably be a good, entertaining fight.

I enjoy watching Adamek fight HWs close to his own size. It's not fun to watch him in size mismatches against super-heavyweights like Grant and Vitali.

mohegan is an awesome spot to see fights.

        it's tony grano.

while it's a HW fight, and they're all exciting when there are aggressive fighters, it's still a huge mismatch.

It's not a mismatch now, may have been a few years ago.

Adamek is a faded former light heavyweight.

lol they are trying desperately to rebuild Adamek after his last two poor performances. Tony Grano is a good start.

Always have liked Grano, although he'll have his hands full, even though Adamek has never been good at HW. Wouldn't it be hilarious though if Grano KOs him.

Adamek never recovered from the Vitali beating, probably never will. Or maybe he´s just getting old..
