in another sense, it's very sad
to know that those great showmen
now have to perform in the meathead fest
that is the ufc

watching that video
made me feel old

at that time
i actually had aspirations
to someday give mma a shot

then, it went away
and ufc became the only show in town
it quickly burned me out

the stupid attitude
the terrible advertising
the horrible t-shirts
and the abominable deusch bag,
that is dana white

mma was fun back then
not quite the style-vs-style of the nhb days
but not the vanilla-flavored styles of today

i think the head stomps & soccer kicks
did a lot to curb the wrestling dominance
and made it a lot more exciting

these days i almost wish it would go away

tired of mma-wannabes
rolling into the gym
thinking they're good
after just a couple weeks

constantly wanting to push
constantly wanting to check you
constantly asking to get ktfo
making a pizzing contest out of everything

like i said
i feel like i'm getting too old for this ****
