Pretty much one in the same. Banff is on Lake Louise. It's the most beautiful place that I have ever seen.

It was March and Japanese tourists were clogging up the hills, skiing in bikini tops and sheeit.

Also, Mont Tremblant in Quebec, while not nearly as impressive, was still quite scenic. Even saw some black bears lurking about. We were there in the Summer to watch Leonard Dorin v Arturo Gatti at a friends resto/bar.

Really interesting thread! Don't fancy it myself but it would certainly be something to talk about. Great pictures, Alan and good luck Timba. Lukla airport would certainly get the bum flapping. I'd have to get hammered on that flight.

I was going to say once in a lifetime experience but that's a tired cliche. I mean, I've been to Isle of Wight once.

It cost like 10 or 20 grand just to climb that mountain

It costs more like £70,000 UK to climb Everest.

Anyway, I just want to make the trek to base camp, I think it would be a great experience. Hopefully most of the crowds will be gone by September time too.

Would be great if 3-4 boxing scene guys made the trip. It's that or I'm going solo. Which will be more challenging but just as fun. Love solitude.

                      Great pics as well alan!
