This is a serious step-up for Gamboa. Bam Bam is a beast.

      gamboa is a short FW
he's got muscles and a style that could give bigger men problems, but he's still not a big guy

rios is one of the biggest LW's i've ever seen
he's a weight cutter and rehydrator.

he looked like a zombie at the weigh in for the murray fight
i doubt he can make LW and remain healthy ever again.

many weight classes separate these guys. i'd be shocked if they ever fight.

there are fights at 140 for rios, but i'm not sure how much sense they make.

Ríos can't make 135 anymore. He would be a walking skeleton.

then Gamboa should have never said Bam Bam's name

but he did and now Bam Bam is more than happy to oblige but Gamboa has told Oner and Top Rank not now....lol

He'll probably go in as the under-dog due to the weight, but I'd be comfortable putting money on Gamboa. Entirely too much speed.

When did he say not now? Because he's been looking for an opponent for march to test the water and Rios is the reason he's moving up in weight since he hasn't challenge at 126-130 lbs

That's the worrisome part, he didn't look like his usual self his last time up, I was hoping he moved up a while ago too. They need to kill this fight as a whole in my opinion.
