    According to several reports in the UK, former cruiserweight king Juan Carlos Gomez (49-2, 37KOs) is the latest boxer to join the line-up for Prizefighter International Heavyweights, taking place at Alexandra Palace on May 7. Gomez enters the ring in the 18th edition of Matchroom Sport’s eight-man, one night tournament, which is televised live on Sky Sports.

    They should make a single elimination tourney with ten round bouts. These
    3round bout tourneys are for the amateurs and say little about who would win a professional bout. I would pay to see some of these guys really fight each other.

      Have you ever watched Prizefighter?

      Nobody can ever say they don't 'fight each other.'

      It's very exciting. And tactics are very important.

        This is going to be BRILLIANT. The only things that can spoil Prizefighter are bad scoring and cuts. Let's hope for neither.

                This format is excellent, thus far the competition has been a little weak. This is a huge step up from that, if made available in Canada, I would certainly buy it. Would make a great afternoon lead up to pac/mosley.
