  • LOL at Mayweather still putting up roadblocks after Pac has been KTFO by Marquez. All it needed for Ortiz and Guerrero was to beat Berto to get a shot at him. What a p.ssy.

i enjoy reading all these eloquent poetry about floyd's cowardice and boxing legacy. sun tzu couldn't have written it any better himself. apparently these bitter ass "boxing fans" can look into the future haha. truth is, most of you will leave when manny leaves the sport and your opinions will leave with you.

A world of this...the years they've spent ****ting up every thread with praising Manny and/or hating Floyd are pretty much useless because their interest will wane and they'll vanish along with their opinions.

      • Hahaha why do people still want to see this? Pacquiao is on a two fight losing streak and after getting ktfo will probably never be the same and Mayweather is 36 years old and on the tail end of his career. The fight is past is experation date.

        • When a Tin God Goes Down Hard VII

I'm sure Marquez knows how important a fifth fight with Manny would be not just to Manny but more importantly to Bob Arum who needs his fighter for a few more fights, and as it stands Pacquiao's stock has took a major hit. I imagine if it were Floyd that got KTFO he obviously wouldn't have been able to make a historic deal with Showtime. So the fact remains Manny was stretched out like a two by four, this shouldn't enable him to make more money in a rematch that isn't even warranted.

But when a tin goes down hard he leaves his blind followers scrambling for any sort imaginary crumbs of hope or delusion that fall from Arum's table. Crumbs of hope because they believe their battered little deity will somehow rise from the dead or resurrect his career after he's been battered like a two dollar hooker, and crumbs of delusion because they somehow believe Mayweather would have the slightest interest in fighting damaged goods.

When Manny kissed the canvas he kissed away what would have been the second highest guarantee in boxing history. That deal or anything remotely like it is gone and so is a bulk of the value of Pacquiao the fighter. Oh he'll make money just like always but he's forever tarnished by his loss. Only die hard worshipers will tune into his fights not fans that realize he's merely a shadow of his former self, a pack mule that's been used to carry Arum to the bank many times over.

This whole "when a tin god goes down hard" scenario is sort of like "religious" people getting all dressed up and going to church even though they know in their hearts there's no God......

How many times has Pac submitted since 2009?

            A. Once

            B. Twice

            C. More than twice

            D. Every single fight

            E. Never

            I expect one answer of A, B, C, D, or E. VERY easy reply.

Pac has always been concerned about Cotto. Pac would not even talk to Cotto unless there was some kind of weight stipulation to it. Mind you, Pac had already fought De La Hoya at 147 but no, not Cotto.

Years later, Pac became so concerned over Cotto that he would not rematch him unless there was some weight stipulation to it. Pac was so worried about Cotto that he reached out to Floyd and warned him about Cotto and just how dangerous of a fighter he is. This was because Floyd was not looking for any weight advantages over Cotto.

Pac was even concerned about LW JMM which is why he demanded for the fight to take place at WW (like Floyd did). This WW cherry pick back fired for Pac. Even worse in the 4th meeting. Ironically, Pac is now concerned with PEDs.

Just imagine if JMM said no to testing and his team stated he had a fear of needles and that he will be drained? In a very small way, I hope he does out of spite.
