The truly amazing thing about Lin is not only is he a Star, hes making his team play better ANDDDDDDDDDDDDD hes making the other team play better so they can say they are the one to take down the Lin Train.

This is great for basketball. Everyone is trying.

Who woulda thought The Raptors were going to put up such a good game.

Plus add the fact that the knicks added two "superstars" and were still losing, they go down with injuries, this kid steps up and they start winning?

How can people say him being Asian has nothing to do with it? It was a big shot and he is having a very good 2 weeks in the NBA, no player hating to be done there. But if this guy was a kid named Jeremetrius Washington who floated around the D-League and played at Cal-Poly the entire ******* nation wouldn't be behind him and ESPN wouldn't be showing droves of Asians with Lin signs on Sportscenter.

He's having a great run and we should just enjoy it while it lasts, but be real 90% of this hype is because he's Asian. ESPN is the master of finding idiotic statlines. Lin has averaged 5.6 ppg and 2.3 apg over his 43 game NBA career, yet ESPN wants to put up stats that compare him to MJ, Ivo, Kareem, etc...gtfo w that looool.

Asians aren't his only fans, but a large percentage of the hype he has already received is because he is Asian. If he keeps this up for an entire month, it won't be hype anymore.

And I love how you bring up his stats and leave out the minutes he was playing at that time lol

he has been hot...but i agree that his race has increased the hype...how can one not say the asian influence has gr8ly been there...its like the whole Yao Ming thing...yes he was very very good..but to miss half of the first half of a season and still end up leading the All-Star votes says it all...nothen really wrong with it...we have many Asians in this country and when they finally get a gifted athlete why not praise him..
