Mexico's Manuel "Chango" Vargas (30-8-1, 15KOs) will sweat more than expected to make weight for his Thursday clash with Panamanian Luis "Nica" Concepcion (22-2, 17KOs), which takes place at the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama. Concepcion returns for the first time since his TKO loss to Tyson Marquez in April. At the pre-fight weigh-in on Sunday morning at the offices of the Boxing Commission of Panama (COMIBOX), Vargas weighed 125-pounds, which is eleven pounds beyond the agreed upon weight for Wednesday's weigh-in. Concepcion came in at 119-pounds.
