Second round was proof that Silva wasn't 100% in the 1st fight

Chael meant to do that. In practice it was a bait technique: Fake an elbow/backhand strike and catch Silva with a knee when he ducked under, then ground and pound him into submission.

He just wasn't expecting to fall with Silva standing over him.

I think even the 1st round proved that Silva wasn't 100% in the 1st fight. Cuz even though Silva was taken down, Silva defended off his back pretty well and Sonnen couldn't land any significant punches.

Silva was going for the haymaker finish right away, thats why he got taken down. You can see the difference in the 2nd when Silva was more calculated and Sonnen couldn't take him down.

Also lets not forget that Sonnen out-punched Silva standing up in the 1st fight. Nobody in the UFC would be able to outstrike Silva let alone Sonnen. Thats the more obvious proof that Silva was injured.

Sonnen was on top majority DOES NOT MEAN domination..

what did he do while on top? half guard and all Silva had his leg caught the ENTIRE TIME and what was Sonnens response?

        nothing..

        his response was absolutley Nothing

Silva DEFENDED PERFECTLY, just like a certain mma Terminator he was controlling from the bottom of the halfguard position..and was calm and cool the entire time, Sonnen did was most UFC guys do and thats smother and smother..the only difference is that the ref didnt make them stand up cause Sonnen kept moving around hence the audience wasnt booing other wise it wouldve went back in their feet and who knows what Silva wouldve done to him..

Silva is so far beyond the ufc roster its not even funny.. he makes it looks like childs play

Just garbage. Where do people come up with such stupid notions? This is up there with the "Mayweather let Cotto hit him" crowd.

Sonnen was hurt by a very good punch 1m15s into the 2nd round (3m45s on the clock). After that point, he goes ragged. I think it shook him and he never fully recovered. He bounces for a few seconds to try to shake it off, then tries a take down from miles away, then tries a hip throw against a Ju Jitsu black belt, then the swinging elbow, and at no point from that punch landing to him going over after the elbow does he have his balance or feet planted.

Pffft, a spinning backfist into a knee. This isn't Olympic diving mate. You don't spin from one move into another. How was he going to throw the knee exactly? A piruoette then backflip with the knee coming down on Silva's head like an elbow from the sky? What land of make believe do you live in?

He was able to outstrike him due to the threat of the TD in the first round...

The TD's Anderson stuffed in the 2nd were mostly up against the cage
