I have never came across a place here with bacon wrapped

Here in az we call them sonoran hot dogs. It like a hot with everything on it bacon avocado chili peppers onions etc

depending on the stand you'll have different topings on it.
some will rub brown sugar on the dog some wont.. some will cut into the dog and put a piece of american cheese in the middle of the dog and wrap the bacon over it..

for the most part it's grilled onions, grilled chile verde, mustard, mayonaise, ketchup, jalapeno if you want some.. and a little bit of butter.

We used to call them Danger Dogs or Dirty Dogs.. as you usually get them from someone cooking them of the street

This old Mexican guy in my area used to have a hot dog stand that used to make bacon wrapped hot dogs with cheese in the middle. So damn good.
