Dempsey, Louis, Walcott, Liston, Frazier & Tyson all had superb left hooks.

But the award goes to Patterson. It was faster than anybody's above, it could and did knock men out cold and it was the most stylish when he leaped in with it (check out Johansson 2 final round).

I LOVE that Razor Ruddock "Smash!" It was a hybrid left hook/left uppercut that put people to sleep. I'm surprised more boxers don't use it. I'm gonna go way out on a limb and mention Tommy Morrison & David Tua for their legendary left hooks that KO'd so many people. Tyson & Frazier were masters, no doubt. Everyone knows Joe Louis belongs here, too. Lennox Lewis' hook was perhaps as great as his straight right hand cause it could starch you probably just as well. Frank Bruno would certainly know that!
