Shannon Taylor Passes Away!

By Eric Thomas: 39-year-old Shannon Taylor (52-10-3, 37 KO’s) reportedly will be having his life support machine turned off on Monday. Taylor, a former welterweight contender and world title challenger, was found unconscious on Monday. He was then put on a life support machine. However, the machine was turned off on Monday. ** Note** Fight News is reporting that Taylor’s life support has already been turned off.

Taylor is known for having fought WBC welterweight champion Shane Mosley in March 2001 in a losing effort. Taylor also fought Raymond Joval and IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham , losing both fights. Most recently, Taylor defeated Sintung Kiebusaba by a 4th round knockout last month on October 7th.
