Remember when 5-6 years ago, guys like Joel Julio, Yuri gamboa, Juan Manuel Lopez, Jorge linares, Devon Alexander, Amir Khan, Alfredo angulo, James Kirkland, Paul Williams, Chad Dawson and Chris arreola were all thought to be the next superstars in boxing. But none of them lived up to the hype and some never even became a champion. The point is people are already labeling canelo and broner as the next superstars. But will they fail to reach the hype like the guys I've named or no?

Pacquiao was never thought of as a superstar prospect. And yes Arreola was thought to be the next big thing because he was a hard punching Mexican hw. And Joel Julio was supposed to be the next Trinidad because he was 21 y/o knocking everyone out
