Whereas, pac -vs- marquez iii, pac -vs- margarito and pac -vs- clottey who did the commentators get behind. I'll let you answer that one yourself.

I think what really got me was when he kept saying Mayweather was so good at cherry picking in the Ortiz fight. Pac has been doing exactly that in recent times yet he's not courteous enough to share the same criticsm.

Mayweather is their top bread winner why trash him?

thats bull****. merchant is one of the few guys who couldnt care less about that stuff.

he never made a big deal out of gattis or corrales' cases when they were dealing with the same accusations floyd is and in corrales' case going to jail for it. leonard was a coke head that abused his wife on a regular basis and ignored his kids, merchant always swept it under the rug the same way he ignored holyfields scandals, jermain taylors scandals, valeros, kirklands, tysons, monzons, robinsons.. etc.

merchant is a hypocrite, he doesnt care about what fighters do outside the ring (as he shouldnt). its only an issue when someone he dislikes is in hot water, then its open season. anyone who doesnt fight in what he considers exciting fashion gets put on blast any chance he gets.

there are so many fighters out there getting into ****, always have and always will. its not that they are "wannabe gangstas", its just that many fighters have a troubled past that sometimes comes back to haunt them and lead them down the wrong road if even for a second. but at the end of the day it has nothing to do with boxing, all thats matters is what goes down between the ropes.
