  • Comments Thread For: Pacquiao Admits There is Pressure To Impress With Rios

MACAU - Eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao whose record stands at 54 wins, five losses and two draws, admits that he feels the pressure as heads into his fight with Brandon Rios at the Venetian resort-hotel in Macau at 10:00 am on November 24. And viewers will not be oblivious to the fact that it is probably make or break time for Pacquiao's boxing career.

Despite his last fight ending in a disastrous knockout, when Juan Manuel Marquez caught him with a huge right hand that saw the Filipino crumple to the canvas -- his second successive defeat -- Pacquiao refuses to entertain the notion that he will lose a third straight bout, or retire.

He said he was "100 percent" sure he would beat Rios (31-1-1), giving him one more chance to regain his credibility -- and potentially another shot at a world title.

If Pac stops Rios, he and Floyd are back to 2.5 million ppv buys. if he loses to Rios, he's done.

        No pressure...

what's the pressure , he is fighting a lightweight that only fought twice at junior welter and got beat in his last outing at 140. rios has never fought at 147 b4 so I don't know what the fuss is about..
Oh that's right he got put to sleep by a lightweight...........
there must be drug testing in this fight ...

Rios will be right there, even when he's getting pummeled. Not happy about Pac's last fight, but then I'm sure Rios' people aren't happy about his last fight either.

Funny thing is that it was the pressure to impress with Marquez that made him get sloppy. The same mistake could cost him big again.
