At Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California, welterweight prospect Jesse Vargas (14-0, 7 KOs) won an unanimous eight round decision over Cristian Favela (19-31-7, 10 KOs). The scores were 79-73, 78-74 and 77-75. Favela did much better than expected and pushed the action. He was able to land good punches to make the action close and won over the crowd. Vargas still did enough to take the fight by landing the more calculated punches.

yeah he is pretty good and has lots of power but he seems to small for his weight class. He reminds me of a poor mans tyson.
