    Johnny Bumphus never lived up to his early hype/potential. Dude was a ridiculously awesome amateur, and probably burnt himself out in the ams.

            i guess i must have missed that stipulation


            although he did fall off in the ring, he certainly wasn't exposed to be less than what he was billed

            people close to him said he started really losing his mind after his fight with tua. hearing things and talking nonsense, etc.

                Remember Yuri Vaulin? Not sure if I'm spelling his name right... Also, Merqui Sosa & Gino Geromino were tremendous prospects at one time.. I think this was back in the MSG times...
