    Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has informed BoxingScene.com that a deal has been finalized for Lamont Peterson (31-1-1, 16KOs) to defend his IBF junior welterweight title against Lucas Matthysse (33-2, 31KOs) on May 18th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Peterson-Matthysse will be part of a Showtime televised doubleheader, with Devon Alexander (24-1, 13KOs) defending his IBF welterweight title in the televised co-feature against mandatory challenger Kell Brook (29-0, 19KOs).

      This is some pure BS. Khan fights a LW and a guy coming out of retirement and gets to be the top prize, meanwhile Peterson, Matthysse, Garcia, and Judah get matched hard as ****. How is that fair?

          Because when they get to Khan it will be the biggest payday because Khan is the most popular. Is he the best out of them? No

                    Khan is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

                    The bookmakers will still have Khan a favourite over the tournament winner/finalist, its going to be easy money.
                    I can not wait for Lucas to shatter that glass.
