I take Morrissey.

Aside from spawning one of the greatest band of the 80's (The Smiths) he had a successful solo career. Pretty much a continuation of a life that Ian Curtis have had sans the untimely death.

The Cure is on my play list, I grew up on The Cure.

The Smiths wasnt as big in the USA as the Cure though, The Cure was huge in the USA, Morrisey had a smaller following with the Smiths stateside.

Love that song I love most of The Cures 80s stuff, The Smiths had a cult following in the states they had some minor Airplay back int he day but The Cure was HUGE.

I miss the 80s, it was so innocent back in the day, now everything is weird people are ashamed, they are snobs, they are entitled, violent, on steroids, and make fun and hate on others its weird.

The musician thing just comes down to who's stuff you like more really...

But as far as frontmen go, Morrissey has a history of talking utter b*llocks...

By frontmen I'm thinking charisma, voice, looks, personality, stage persona.. and that's Morrissey. I like The Cure but they're also an Emo band.
