I know it's not the conventional view, but I wonder if Khan's actually outgrown 140 now and so he has to compromise in physical areas. For example, in the Garcia fight, Khan looked top heavy but his legs look very skinny. It's like he's not equally balanced from the top half to the bottom half.
We saw after he got beat by Prescott, he immediately moved up to 140 because at 135 he was weight-drained. And after that move he appeared to be much more resilient. Has he actually become a weight-drained fighter again because he's outgrown 140 and does this effected his punch resistance, just like 135 did?
Khan took a lot of heavy shots against Maidana but that fight was nearly 2 years ago now and that's enough time to outgrow a weight division. We know that being weight-drained can severly effect punch resistance, just look at Manny Pacquiao' s early career for proof of that.
So is it actually time for Khan to move up to 147?
