Two days after fallen heavyweight David Price was suddenly without a trainer, an old veteran has stepped in to help fill the void.

Longtime trainer Tommy Brooks answered the call to handle the rebuilding process for Price, according to a recent press release from the British heavyweight's publicity team.

"I have been waiting for the phone to ring to work with a fighter who can make it to the top," Brooks said in a statement.

It's going to be very hard work for Price. He'll likely knock out his comeback opponents too easily for his own good because he's already proven that he can destroy some pretty durable guys. It's difficult for him to truly test himself without taking a big risk that could easily end his career.
