Was John Lennon's "Imagine" a Communist Manifesto?

I don't know if Lennon was a communist, I doubt it, though the song seems to indicate he did have some communist ideals.
He does say imagine there is no countries or things to die for, which indicate there being no government though, if anything it was more anarchistic then anything.
I think sometimes people try to put too much meaning into lyrics of songs though,
why does it have to be him declaring his ideals..
like piggy said, it was just a hippie day dreaming.
Communists aren't the only ones who had those ideas.

Robin Hood was a socialist. I cant believe Disney permitted that to be shown to millions of children in America.

visit the ''Vedado'' District, and ask any local where the park is, they'll give you a ride on any of the bike-cars they have, and they'll take you.

I went last year, but for family matters, not for pleasure, I'm going on January just to check it out .

It's clearly part of Obama's plan to socialise your children.

You can't "socialize" children. You can brainwash them into believing in Socialist ideals, which has been going on for quite some time.
