Hopefully this is the last time before Mitchell moves up to fighting top 15 fighters. Seth isn't young and he's had enough preparing. It's time to move to the next level to see what he has.

What a horrible mismatch. Why is this on HBO?

The should have Mitchell fight someone who will test him a bit, like Kevin Johnson or Michael Grant.

        OMG.

Well, Mollo is 1-2-1 in his last 4 bouts and is coming of an 8 round draw against the very dangerous Gary Gomez (18-11-1--Gomez lost his last 4).

Can't wait to watch another 30-1 blowout on HBO.

        Who really makes these fights?

Mollo is way better than Mariusz Wach and he KTFO of McBride back before McBride was a washed up bum.

Well excuse Seth Mitchell for not fighting fat bums like Kevin McBride.

Mitchell would murder Wach's big slow pasty ass in 3 rounds.

Wasn't Christy Martin available? Or did they just not want to put him in their with Simeone with her kind of credibilty/ experience?

This really isnt that bad a fight for Mitchell he is still inexperinced. If he does well against Mollo he can fight someone like Johnson then try for Arreola and then he could fight in a title eliminator, he is on track for his aim of fighting for a title within 18 months imo.

too be honest tunney mollo isnt that bad.i got few of his fights & he's a tough guy.he's like jason gavern but will throw more punches.he's just too small but i saw him in a couple of good straps with an aging golota & jameel mccline.he gave up 35 to golota & 60 to mccline but still made good fights out of it.he's a firtha\gavern\quezada type fighter.he's a good test at this point for mitchell...dont be fooled by the gomez draw.gomez is a pro sparring partner for many guys & can be a tricky guy to fight.holding, punches from awkward positions etc....mitchell will win but i think this will be his last JM opponent...to the gatekeepers next...grant,peter,etc should be coming after this fight.

Mike Mollo is a way better opponent then any of Deontay Wilder's opponents. So atleast Mitchell is fighting opponents who can fight back.
