Do you consider Golf a sport?

Im having an argument about this with a guy on my fb. Just trying to gauge whether this is actually an argument, im just arguing with a spastic or if i am the spastic.
What do you guys think?

I guess it depends on what your definition of a
sport
is, but I would say no it's not.

It's as much a sport as snooker is.
But someone's going to come in here and tell us how Golf players require stamina and how they run 5 miles a week to keep in top shape...

Ok seems pretty even so far...
I think it is a sport. I dont watch or play it so am not biased towards it.
why do people believe it isnt?

It does require some sort of physical activity and it is competitive so yeah, I suppose its a sport.
