The rumors have been circulating for weeks. Did Edison Miranda drop Chad Dawson during a sparring session? According to Miradana's trainer, Miguel Diaz, the incident happened.

For a few weeks in Las Vegas, the two fighters were training together for their respective fights on September 8th.

After watching Dawson vs Ward, that's more believable now. What i'd like to know is what was Chad Dawson's weight while sparring Miranda.

Funny both of them got stopped in their fight. That's a fight that should happen next I guess. They have some sparring history now and they're both coming off stoppage losses. Might as well.

Why would Scully use Miranda when he does not fight anything like Ward.

If you get knocked out in a fight, you are not allowed to spar for a number of months let alone fight. Thats a safety measure for the boxer.

The vitness report sounds like there was indeed a real KO here.

Why oh why didnt anyone from Dawsons team stop Dawson from going ahead with the Ward fight?

Don't get into that old school nonsense cause there are always reasons and excuses and how would you know?... were you alive when the likes of robinson and armstrong boxed?..... 20 years from now when they look back on this fight, all they'll say is that Ward knocked out Dawson, most of the fine details will be filtered away.
