I understand why nacho thinks is a dangerous fight for Marquez again, he was getting busted up before the KO had not been for that Pacquiao triped on Maquez's foot it would be a different story.

Funny how these fools talk about how "Manny was on his way to a K.O.!" before the "lucky, foot-stomp, PED-enhanched punch!!!" ....lol.....GTFO of here...Marquez was FAR MORE HURT in the first round of their first fight and still came back to dominate 10 of the next eleven rounds you idiots!!! He out-boxed Pac in the second fight. He embarassed him in the third fight. What is wrong with you people? Its just a sport. Marquez and Pacquiao are both great. Can you not live your life in peace if Marquez is just a bit better?

Cash Manny out for the 5th fight.
Take up the 15 million to fight sum bum in Dubai.
Take a few more high prolific fights for $$$
          Retire.

Marquez has earned his right to make an extra bit of cash, I am loving this.

Glad to see that somebody else on this site saw that video. He certainly tripped, and fell face forward into Marquez' fist which he threw and really didn't know where it would land. Which was why it had so powerful an effect. If Pacquiao had not tripped, the punch may have missed, or landed elsewhere doing no damage. He threw lots of punches somewhat that one, and they did little or no harm. Marquez didn't even see where it was landing.

It was a kind of desperation punch, because he was being badly pressured. This is often seen on YV when a fight is becoming one-side and the other fighter is surging. It just happened to land in the right spot, and that single punch is worth probably another $15 mill in his pocket.

Only someone who has boxed can understand this, and most of the guys on here only throw punches when they're either watching a fight, or when they're arguing with girl friends... if they have any.

Stop talking about old history and who beat whom. In THIS fight (which is-supposedly- the subject for discussion) Marquez was being beaten up solidly, increasing from the 4th rd on. Nobody is talking about "foot stomps" nor PEDS, we're talking about Beristain's and Marquez' poorly disguised bargaining (and retreating) positions. It may be that their demands will be too avaricious, and there will be no fight, but, until that happens, nobody really knows.

Here's a little history you probably don't know either. Their second fight took 4 years to make, because, when the return was proposed shortly after their first fight, Beristain and Marquez got suddenly greedy and turned down $750,000, which, at that time was larger than Marquez' total fight takings. They demanded $1.5 mill and Beristain said "not a cent less" (something like what The Roach said when he demanded 10% of MannyP's purses). So Marquez echoed this and repeated "not a cent less'... What happened?? The opportunity disappeared.

In the meantime Pacquiao had about 7-8 fights in which all of his opponents were well satisfied with their money, including 3 Morales fights and another Barrera fight. His reputation grew huge.

The only fights Marquez could get until he fought Pacquiao again 4 years later, were about the same number of low paid fights, one of which was in far-away Indonesia, where he went, for $32,500, against Chris John, in which he was comfortably beaten.

LOL. Am i the only one who finds this funny? Anyway, in THIS fight, Pacquiao got his a** knocked out cold. Stop with the moral victories about who was winning the fight at the time of the stoppage. Marquez dropped Pac twice, and the second time for good.

The subject is the bargaining as mentioned by Beristain, not repeat what everybody knows already, over and over. Stop pushing it into your favourite moment. This is a NEW discussion.
